About Me

so salty pieces of coral from surfing Hawaii in the 60's and 70's getting reef pounded living in my body fall through my skin from time to time!

sailing to Oahu

Jimi Hendrix was playing on Oahu. I had never sailed. Surfed Mexico, California, Hawaii! Aw, how hard could it be to sail 90-110 miles from Kauai to Oahu? Piece of cake, right? Remember it was the 60's! This is so bad. We thought we were looking at Kaiena Point,Ohau, knowing we weren't going to make the concert! But at least we were in site of Oahu-wrong! Coy, who had never sailed before, me,who had never sailed before, jeff and Abbott etc. We were looking at the sleeping giant on Kauai! We had done three-sixty's in the night! We sailed on the only tri-marran I've ever sailed on ( except later ) in my life, missed the concert! It was at the Waikiki Shell Ampitheater ( Moon eclipsed . We finally made Nawilwili Harbor! The Skipper tried to give us his boat saying, " It's trying to kill me"! We watched him go stark raving mad not even realising that had we got caught in the channel current we were on our way to Japan! Remember it was the 60's and we were going to see Hendrix. I left out some of the good stuff but I will make up for it later!

Good, Bad or Right,Wrong-Maya

I think the story that is in me for here now to share is-one of Hope.  My first concern is that I hope you catch the meaning of my humble attempt with words in trying to place you, the reader, into an understanding, an empathetic state of participation, not seperate from but one with the meaning I am trying to impart.               I have been blessed.  I would say, "You are blessed also",  but that is really for you to decide.  I say, "To the pure all things are pure".  You might say," What do you mean by that"?  This is a real question but a rebellious statement back: instead of a question would be something like. "  How dare you throw ambiguious, steriotypical cliches at me"!              It turns out that the entire history (written) of mans journey to this present day has always been on the back of one tremendously hard headed, opinionated, focused, uncomprimising, fearless, individual that finally was willing to swim against the current of traditional, mainstream, mutually agreeable theologies and governments,,,,,( principallities, dominions, etc..)  because the futillity, hopelessness, iniquity, meaningless rhetoric and pointlessness  compelled a rebellious behavior that chose a physical death, even a spiritual ostricism as opposed to another day of living an agreed upon lie for the sake of position, power and creature comforts.                   My hope is that more people realize what tyranny is.  When you know that your life is over.  You are John Paul Jones being blown to pieces, out gunned and out flanked and you say ? We have not yet begun to fight"!  Or you are Nathan Hale or Patrick Henry and you say, "  I regret that I only have one life to give for my country"! Or " Give me liberty or give me death"! Saul of Tarsus, Paul,  being ferried by centurions to Rome for trial, him captive!  When they ran aground on a lee shore in a massive storm and him telling them,"  Stay all aboard and live", for they wanted to abandon ship!  They obeyed their captive and lived!    Magellen's famous, " Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink!"  Now if Ponce de da Leon had  said that in Florida, when a queen sends him and his sailors to sail off a flat Earth to find a fountain that these good Catholics thought might, if drunk, offer everlasting life to those that partook!  What is that?  Can't you see Cortez in Arizona, wearing all that heavy metal, being cooked under that unmerciful sun, 110 degrees + looking for the illusive seven cities of gold?  It was really nice of him and Spain to leave the horses they brought over for the Apache to re-invent themselves with.           When one digs into history one finds that all these great men are like you and I.  Martin Luthor did an amazing thing.  He witnessed with his own eyes, behavior that was unacceptable by a holy people over him. All he wanted , he thought they had it to give him and yet after watching he realized they were a lie!  Not holy? The Catholic church had nothing to give him.     How many people in his position before him looked the other way?  How many people died ? I (we) am(are) no different.      When does one decide and in that decision take action which can be as simple as saying the word "NO"?  Or "Yes"!           When I tell you that the entire history of the Catholic church,  God's chosen-Jews, Mormans, Bhuddaists, Muslim, Hawaiian/Kahuna, Shiva, ad infinitum , ad nauseum have done nothing but create seperatism and diversity throughout the ages, what do you think?     To do justice and be politically correct; I should mention all gods ever spoken of since the beginning of written history.   I can do that because I was curious, I studied them!. So I searched for a God, a true God!  But how could I know a false God from a true God?  Have you ever asked yourself  this question?  Maybe another time!   Another one of the I hope fors is I want you also to be curious!  But only in one thing.       Honest curiousity   Ask questions with an earnest expectation of recieving an answer!  This is what I hope for.  That you will find the Law of Liberty in Love and search in an honest, curious, child-like way, answers to big questions, that have somehow evaded the  larger minds measured and weighed by mutual agreement.          I swear to you here and now.  Seek and you will find.                  All I was going to share here was a story about a man I met in a small, very small village in PNG.  He had returned to the village and area where he was born.  It wasn't really that surprizing to find him there.  It had been his home as a child before he had showed potential and in a process called " Education" moved further and farther from the bush and the life of his parents and family towards that of knowledge and 1st world reality.  He graduated from Harvard.  A doctor.  His medical practice in Manhatten successful beyond his dreams until one day he remembered.  He had made a promise.  It wasn't the promise as much as a need that called.  He realized he wasn't needed in Manhatten where many doctors were available and at the beck and call of the wealthy who pick and choose their doctor of the day!  He realized how much he missed his home and his people and felt lucky to be able to return home with something that they had paid for and that he could return to with a song in his heart.  I am blessed because him who moved with the so-called mighty in a city called Manhatten living what many would call, "Success".  Realized what success really is.  In meeting him and other people like him it becomes easier to see clearly what is really important and has value as opposed to what appears to have value and is empty!    His house is made out of wood branches expertly tied which are on the water.  Keeping him dry is a combination of tin roofing and grasses unless the rain is measured in feet and then you are wet.  But not real wet and it is only water.  The village is sound.   Peace was there.  You could touch it.   Guinevere sailed and stayed in many villages like this one.  I realized that what I  thought of as the 1st world is not.
